Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the TV Comic Book Reader application for Roku devices and Roku TV devices (the "Application"). The Application is provided by Deepak PK (the "Service Provider") as a local comic book reading utility for viewing supported comic archives on a TV.

Summary

TV Comic Book Reader is designed for local viewing between your own devices on the same Wi-Fi network. The Service Provider does not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Crashlytics, or similar analytics or tracking services in the Roku version of the Application.

Information the Application Handles

To provide the comic reading experience, the Application may handle information such as:

• Comic archive files you choose to open with the Application, including supported formats such as CBZ, ZIP, CBR, RAR, CB7, 7Z, CBT, and TAR
• Basic comic and file details, such as file names, file sizes, page counts, archive formats, thumbnails, and titles when available
• Comic metadata when present, such as series, issue number, summary, and reading direction
• Reading preferences and state, such as zoom, fit mode, rotation, page position, pan position, night mode, and recently viewed pages
• Temporary session, connection, and device information used to pair your Roku device with your phone, tablet, or computer on your local network
• Temporary app data used to support viewing, thumbnails, navigation, reconnection, and performance
• Subscription or entitlement status provided through the Roku platform
• Support or feedback information you choose to send through external support or feedback links

This information is used to provide comic selection, local pairing, library display, viewing, navigation, reading-state restoration, subscription access control, support, and related in-app features.

Local Comic Viewing

Comic archives are selected from your phone, tablet, or computer while it is connected to the same local network as your Roku device. The Application is not designed to upload your comic archives to a Service Provider cloud storage account.

Original comic archive files remain on the device you use to select them. The Roku version of the Application uses local network communication to support the TV reading experience and does not persist original comic archive files on the Roku device.

Local Network Use

The Application uses your local network so your Roku device and your phone, tablet, or computer can work together during comic reading. Connection status, temporary session information, and recovery messages may be used to help connect, reconnect, or clear unavailable local sessions. You should use the Application only on networks and with comic files that you trust.

Information the Application Does Not Collect for Tracking

The Roku version of the Application does not use the Application to track your activity across apps or websites. The Service Provider does not use the Application to collect analytics events, advertising identifiers, precise location information, or behavioral tracking information for profiling or targeted advertising.

Temporary Storage and Retention

The Application may keep temporary app data on the Roku device to support viewing, thumbnails, navigation, reading-state restoration, reconnection, and performance. The Application includes a Clear Temporary Storage action in Settings. Temporary app data may also be cleared during normal app operation, when a local session ends, when cached data is pruned, or when the Roku app restarts.

The Service Provider does not intend for the Roku version of the Application to maintain a cloud-hosted user profile, upload your comic archives to a Service Provider cloud service, or keep a remote analytics history of your comic reading.

Settings, Help, and Support

The Application may display device-related settings information such as screen resolution, screen ratio, temporary file count, and temporary storage used. Help, FAQ, support, and feedback pages may open or display external support resources. If you choose to contact support or submit feedback, the information you provide through those external resources is handled according to the policies that apply to those resources.

Subscriptions and Purchases

The Application may offer subscription features or page access limits. Subscription purchases, renewals, cancellations, and entitlement recovery are handled through the Roku platform. The Service Provider may receive or use entitlement status made available by Roku to enable subscription-related features inside the Application. Payment details are handled by Roku and are subject to Roku's policies and terms.

Third-Party Services

The Roku version of the Application does not include Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or Google Play Services.

The Application runs on the Roku platform and uses Roku platform features, including Roku billing or entitlement features where applicable. Your use of the Roku platform and Roku device may also be governed by Roku's own policies and terms.

Children's Privacy

The Service Provider does not knowingly use the Application to solicit personal information from children.

Security

The Service Provider takes reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary collection of personal information in the Roku version of the Application. You are responsible for keeping your Roku device, phone, tablet, computer, Wi-Fi network, and comic files secure.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If that happens, the updated version will be posted at the current Privacy Policy page.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of 2026-09-29.
