Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Dino USB Player application for Roku devices and Roku TV devices (the "Application"). The Application is provided by Deepak PK (the "Service Provider") as a local USB video playback utility for Roku.
Summary
Dino USB Player is designed to browse and play video files from a USB storage device connected to your Roku device. The Service Provider does not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Crashlytics, or similar analytics or tracking services in the Roku version of the Application.
Information the Application Handles
To provide the USB browsing, playback, subtitle, subscription, support, and settings features, the Application may handle information such as:
- Video files, subtitle files, file names, file paths, file sizes, folder relationships, and related metadata available from the USB drive you connect
- Playback state and preferences, such as resume position, elapsed time, subtitle selection, playback status, and recently stored progress records
- Device and app information shown or used inside the Application, such as app version, display size, screen ratio, local storage availability, USB storage availability, and network link status
- Temporary app data used to support USB scanning, video listing, subtitles, playback, entitlement checks, cached remote documents, settings, and diagnostics
- Subscription catalog, purchase, recovery, entitlement, dunning, renewal, expiration, and status information made available through the Roku platform
- Support or feedback information you choose to send through external support pages, feedback forms, email, or other links
This information is used to operate the Application, display your USB video library, play selected videos, restore playback progress, show subtitles, manage access limits, verify subscription status, provide support resources, and improve reliability.
USB Media and Local Storage
The Application reads supported video and subtitle files from USB storage connected to your Roku device. The Application is not designed to upload your USB video files or subtitle files to a Service Provider cloud storage account.
The Application may store limited local playback data on the Roku device, such as resume records and related identifiers. Playback records may be keyed using file information such as lowercased file name and file size, and may be cleared by the Application when videos are completed, when records are old or no longer useful, when storage is pruned, or when you use the Clear Playback Data action in Settings.
Network Use
The Application may use network access to load Help/FAQ content, Privacy Policy content, Terms of Use content, support or feedback resources, and Roku subscription, purchase, entitlement, or recovery services. The Application may also detect network link status to show connectivity messages. You are responsible for using trusted devices, networks, USB drives, files, and subtitles.
Information the Application Does Not Collect for Tracking
The Roku version of the Application does not use the Application to track your activity across apps or websites. The Service Provider does not use the Application to collect analytics events, advertising identifiers, precise location information, contact lists, photos, microphone recordings, camera data, or behavioral tracking information for profiling or targeted advertising.
Temporary Data and Retention
The Application may keep temporary or local app data on the Roku device to support USB scanning, library display, playback, subtitles, resume behavior, subscription access control, remote legal/FAQ loading, settings, and performance. The Application includes a Clear Playback Data action in Settings. Roku device settings, app removal, normal app operation, or future updates may also clear local data.
The Service Provider does not intend for the Roku version of the Application to maintain a cloud-hosted user profile, upload your USB media library to a Service Provider cloud service, or keep a remote analytics history of your viewing activity.
Settings, Help, Support, and Feedback
The Application may display device-related settings information such as screen resolution, screen aspect ratio, available local storage, total local storage, and USB storage size when available. Help, FAQ, support, feedback, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Use pages may load or link to external resources. If you choose to contact support or submit feedback, the information you provide through those external resources is handled according to the policies that apply to those resources.
Subscriptions and Purchases
The Application may offer subscription features and free-use limits, including limits on accessible videos or subtitle use. Subscription purchases, renewals, cancellations, recovery, billing, and payment handling are managed through the Roku platform. The Service Provider may receive or use entitlement status made available by Roku to enable subscription-related features inside the Application. Payment details are handled by Roku and are subject to Roku's policies and terms.
Third-Party Services
The Roku version of the Application does not include Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or Google Play Services.
The Application runs on the Roku platform and uses Roku platform features, including Roku ChannelStore billing, catalog, purchase, recovery, and entitlement features where applicable. External Help/FAQ, support, feedback, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Use resources may be loaded from or link to websites or services outside the Application. Your use of Roku and any external resources may also be governed by their own policies and terms.
Children's Privacy
The Service Provider does not knowingly use the Application to solicit personal information from children.
Security
The Service Provider takes reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary collection of personal information in the Roku version of the Application. You are responsible for keeping your Roku device, Roku account, USB storage device, network, video files, subtitle files, and related content secure.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If that happens, the updated version will be posted at the current Privacy Policy page.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of 2026-10-09.
